Every year during Memorial Day weekend there is a picnic at the farm. Folks come from all across the country and some from other countries, as well. We have memorials for both our US Servicemen, and our Montagnard Allies. There is an abundance of food and drink. The Montagnard's entertain and honor us with their traditional ceremonies and dance. There is good company with many old friends to spend time with, and many new friends to meet. (Note: You do not have to be a member of STMP to attend.)

Camping: As always, if you prefer to spend your evenings under the stars please do so at the farmland. These amenities are acceptable in that we have both a women's and men's shower and restroom. There are also several portable toilet housings on the property. This year, campsites will be assigned on arrival. Due to some issues over the last several events, a $25 security deposit will be collected on arrival. This is fully refundable at departure as long as you leave your campsite as clean as when you checked in.

Other accommodations can be reserved in the town of Asheboro which boasts a large selection of lodgings and is only a 20 minute drive from the farmland.

STMP volunteers will be glad to assist you with making reservations, and provide local area transportation.
