Here is a form letter you can use to contact your representatives

I am quite concerned about the lack of action on SR-1159 and the sister bill HR-1969. They are both mired down in “committees”. What these bills would do is to put pressure on the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to act in a humane way toward ethnic minorities in their country.
One of these minorities, the Montagnards, have been subjected to ethnic cleansing since the mid-1970’s. This only reason for this harsh action on the part of the SRV is that the Montagnards aligned themselves with us during the war. Is this any way to treat those who fought with us?
These suffering people are not even safe when they reach U.N. refugee camps in Cambodia. They are refused entry to the U. S. and returned to the SRV and, as a result, probable death.
Your refusal to act and move on these bills is leading to the extermination of these valiant people. As an elected official, you are asked to make many difficult decisions. This decision is SIMPLE. Do you want the continued extermination of our allies? We will watch for your answer.
